O nama

Njegovo stradanje se nastavlja u novom milenijumu u depresivnom i vulgarnom postapokaliptičnom društvu, gde uporno nastavlja unapred izgubljenu gerilsku umetničku borbu van institucija, u siromaštvu i bedi srpskog realizma.

Redovne i master studije završio je u klasi prof. Slobodana Abija Kneževića.

Vlada Mojsilovic presents before the public - by means of ironic and subversive contextualization of screen narratives which belong to the tradition of horror comics -- a trap of phantasmagorical aesthetics into which he integrates specific slogans/statements/utterances in order to send, in this way, important messages from the world of art into the real world. And vice versa. He takes over contexts from the real world and packs them into phantasmagoric but challenging representations of a hybrid character, which similar to lenticular printing techniques, possess in one moment the meaning of naïve children’s fantasy and at another, the direct echo of brutal reality. Maxims, slogans and statements as a constituent part of the painting, instruct us that here we are not dealing with naïve entertainment for children but a program for grownups.

Circumstances incorporating long-lasting crisis, and then war, political and economic transfers, transition, and then the crisis of democracy, and the new global and local crisis have created constant tension in all fields of life and have created a whole set of specific symptoms characteristic only of such circumstances. The politics of the ruling regimes, through their actions and inactions, over the past decades has been exerting pressure on the citizens to accept voluntary exile, which has for those that have remained behind, the consequence of a constant and incessant feeling of insecurity and so-called temporary and conditional life. since it is not possible for the entire nation to emigrate, due to the utter recklessness of implemented policy (politics) -- thought there were even proposals of this sort by precisely the artist that i had mentioned in the first part of this text -- a new category of exiles has been created: and those are all those people who could not escape out of this system, into some other environment and more ordered society, and that, due to strong pressure from all sides, had permitted themselves to be corralled "inside" (internally):"thus creating a new category of "internal exiles".

This does not designate the psychological category of withdrawing into oneself, but rather a considerably more complex notion or concept of banishment, suppression, and exile, which is conducted within the confines and framework of simulated freedom and including every possible limitation conditioned by the hegemony of politics over ordinary life, followed by economic catastrophe, the non-existence of civil society and real citizen’s and human rights, and along with that, if not an efficient, then at least a stable art system.
